What are the best technologies that will change our world in the next 5-10 years?

The technologies of today could be considered by many to be %26quot;best%26quot;, and they are changing our world now, and will still change it more in the next 5 - 10 years. Witness Global Warming and climate change...

Any technology that can slow or reverse this trend gets my vote for %26quot;best%26quot;.
What are the best technologies that will change our world in the next 5-10 years?
Medical Science will be the biggest one. With the advent of microsurgery whole limbs are being replaced. And if our government gets off it *** and approves stem cell research we can regrow parts for people that have lost them as well as growing skin for burn patients. The technology in the medical field is growing year by year. Don't sleep on it.

Peace
What are the best technologies that will change our world in the next 5-10 years?
Terra-forming. Why because all other sciences and technologies with just keep right on going no matter what happens to the planet. We need to rebuild or at best endeavor to save this planet otherwise We will have to move to Mars if We intend to survive as a species.
biology
Microrobotics in the medical field, Possibly The theory of Gravity(or Theory of everything) in the physics field, bio-fuels in the energy field, and duct tape would greatly improve politics.
Microprocessors and Stem Cell Research.
Nanotechnology - electronics so small they can be placed almost anywhere for whatever purpose.

Bio-Security Systems - retinal scans, Fingerprints etc.

Renewable Energy Sources - corn, hydrogen, water, wind etc.

Holograms - you've seen them in star treck - it actually exists

Orbital Flight - fly from India to the US in less than 50 min. spacecraft takes you out of earth's atmosphere and takes you anywhere in the world in %26lt; 1 hour
I think it will be bio technology to grow more food and agricultural products, which will be urgently needed very near future for the survival of world population.
amit has it right ! we wont be seeing human cloning for awhile, but animal cloning is already being tested. In 5 or 10 years we will be able to grow a bucket of chicken legs like we do alfalfa sprouts now. our kitchens will have replicaters like the Enterprise
