How would it be different without technology?

How would the world be like without technology? How would people spend their leisure time?

Has technology such as TV, MP3's, computers, etc. Changed who we are by taking away customs such as the interest in reading, walking, meditating, etc.
How would it be different without technology?
Well, we sure as hell wouldn't be communicating right now!
How would it be different without technology?
The horse manure would be knee deep on the streets.

Books would only be owned by those who could afford to have hand copies made (Church) creating an elite class with access to material and the rest of us mostly uneducated.

London to New York would be a four week boat ride, other trips would be six months.

Most people would live to age 45 without access to medicine and clean water. It may take a week to get a message to a doctor in the next village to provide help in an emergency.

Per your question: We would not have a lot of leisure time. Most of our time (12 hours plus per day) would be spent on food and shelter. We would not have a lot of time for reading by candle light at the end of a days work.

They joy of the year 2007 is that you can go live in a log cabin in the mountains if you wish -- and unplug yourself.
Ask the Amish.
the world without technology could be good and bad it could be good because we will have less weapons to kill with but bad because there is technology we need to save peoples lives as well
OMG I would die n go bak to life n die again!Just imagine it its scary!omg..
We surely wouldn't have as many problems and we would be less informed about stuff happening half way around the world.

We would be more simple and worry less.
OMG I cant see myself without technology. It would be really hard to live without it.
Yeah for sure. I wish it wasn't here so we can live wanting to be with friends insted of calling them, and wanting to go on a bike ride with your friends or go hiking or swimming then watching TV or being online. I wish we lived in like the 50's and technology hadn't gone so far, where there was some but it didn't completely rule our lives. I hate it actually.
