Do you think we need to stop our focus on developing technology, financial growth, and other materialistic goals we spend so much time trying to achieve and instead change our focus to a more spiritual life? Do you think this would require a world catastrophe? Or, do you think we are on the right track.

We should not bother thinking about %26quot;everyone%26quot;. You can do exactly what you speak of. Do it. Any time spent on trying to influence others ways is wasted. If they want to do that, they will seek out those ways.
I think plenty of people are religous wether they make it public or not.
But bottom line is spiritual life wont put food on the table.
