Lower population, the world is way overpopulated and if it weren't because of World Wars, it would have been worst (it might sound bad, but it help us (this generation)

In the long run they can be seen as good.
You have some very good points especially regarding women's rights and technology. But who is to say that we as a society wouldn't of reached those ideals in tim. More then anything I'd say the wars acted as a catalyst in out societal development.
You point about the economy is a little flawed especially regarding the first world war one. After both wars there were strains on the economies of many countries because obviously with many elegible workers out to war factiories had to produce less even with the employment of women. As well as a shortage of demand for product.
so in conclusion I'd say you are correct and do have some excellent points however many people would say that any improvements made to our society were not worth the lives of the many people who died during the Holocaust.

China managed to liberate women without going to war.
Focus on the economy began long ago and not as a result of war.
Europe is more peaceful but other countries still haven't learnt to be.
Populations ballooned after WW2 and now make previous numbers look tiny.

I think they were a huge part of the reason that Europe is secular/atheist. There's something like seeing where Dresden used to be to wipe out people's faith in a god. So we have the world wars to thank for the fact that Europe continued with the Enlightenment while the US heads back into the dark ages.
