How can we make education beyond boundaries a reality?

In today鈥檚 world, technology has reduced the size of the globe to that of a tennis ball. Trade, cinema, sports, et cetera happen on a global scale making physical boundaries irrelevant. However, learning for a majority of students is restricted only to the four walls of the boundaries. What can we do to change this and reap benefits of living in a flat world?
How can we make education beyond boundaries a reality?
One answer is to have students engage in Global Project Based Learning. There are a number of sites where students can do anything from correspond with students from around the world, to adopting villages in impoverished countries. I'll post a few links to various sites in sources.
How can we make education beyond boundaries a reality?
Pertinent question! In fact it鈥檚 the need of the hour to make education beyond boundaries possible. Keeping the current education system in mind it is a Herculean task.

However, the silver lining is that we do have world educational portals in India that facilitate students to have a world class curriculum.

A case in point is www.iken.in. You can register at iken for free and connect with academicians and students around the world. You can upload educational videos, et cetera and also download world class educational content in interesting formats like ppt and graphic novels, games, mind maps, etc.

Sharing your educational content with your peers abroad can be fun indeed! At iken, the world is your school! All the best.
Eduation has nothing to do with boundaries. It is the spread of educatiohn that matters .All should get plenty of opportunities tostudy the subject of their coice at all levels and to ddo so basic education must be made free to all
I saw this video recently, I think it has some really interesting suggestions for using communications technology in schools:
