Does anyone know about Changing World Technologies?

This company has been able to take food waste and produce sweet crude oil from it. Why are we not aggressively pursuing this?|||They are, within the limitations of capital investment and technology. The cost of doing this is very high and $130 oil is still cheaper.





The US Bureau of Mines took garbage and made it into coal in minutes back in the 60%26#039;s. Why didn%26#039;t that technology catch on ? Cost compared to the alternatives.|||However it is true that economics drives most activities in the world. It is also true that when economics makes it possible, there will always be some bright technical type to solve the problem. The only barrier to this is usually govt deciding that they know best and restraining innovation.
